Amazing Bedroom and Bath Design Ideas

Today, many new homes come with ensuite bathrooms, and they are often styled differently. When designing or decorating your bed and bathroom space, there should be a point of connection that will help you move easily from one to the other.

A great way to create a connection between your bathroom and bed is by using the same color for both walls. With this, there will be a sense of unity regardless of if they're both in an open space or separated by a tiny doorway. Incorporate these bedroom and bathroom ideas into your home design.

Flooring

When choosing your flooring, go for the same flooring style, especially if the wall color of any of the rooms is very dramatic, and repeating it would not be nice. You can use porcelain or stone tile floors in your bedrooms for a beautiful effect but avoid using carpets and hardwood floors for your bathroom. Instead, keep your floor much less busy and use large-sized tiles with contrasting patterns for additional details.

Use Arch in Doorways

One great way to create a connection between your bed and bath is by using arches in the doorways. This way, you can define both spaces while you keep them open to each other. Use the same shape of arch throughout the entire bathroom to give your space a sense of continuity and make the design stick.

Create a Focal Point

If you have a large space with an adjoining bedroom and bathroom, consider opening both rooms or making an open space to create a more relaxing atmosphere and a spacious floor plan. While doing this, create a focal point within your bedroom and ensure that you can easily see it from your bathroom.

For instance, you can introduce a stand-alone tub in your bathroom to create a spa-like atmosphere and a great focal point. Adding lots of modern lines and textures to this helps to keep both rooms working in unity. Even consider using bed and bath products like modern bathroom sets

Add a Pop of Color

When your bedroom has a dramatic color, it helps tone down your bathroom and makes it more visually appealing. However, adding a single pop of the bedroom's dramatic color to blend with a calmer bathroom color enhances your bed and bath design. An excellent way to complement a cool and warm tiling is by placing a curtain of the same color as your bedroom walls above the tub.

Introduce Neutral Colors

You can use neutral colors in bathrooms, but this color may not be ideal for your bedroom. So, consider adding dark tones to complement the neutral colors. For instance, black stone or glass tiles can brighten up a vanilla bathroom, and similar colors of fabrics can enhance your bedroom's decor.
